    "Stone" is still my favourite among your novels -and I've read all them, including YBT. Sad to hear "Swiftly" was not shortlisted for the Clarke award, though, because I really enjoyed it.

    Stone too has been my favourite to date..altho it didn;t make me laugh as much as ybt is..as for swiftly...perhaps there was a geographical pendant on the panel...pish pash i say..i have always been abit suspicious of arthur as you know...
    my bike was stolen a couple of weeks ago..think i was a bit too drunk to lock it up properly so i only have myslef to blame..do you still have that lovely pink one? you could try freecycle...
